Wales will pay tribute to WWII veterans on 10th July at an event to coincide with UK National Day of commemoration. Around 8,000 people including vets, home front heroes, war widows and children will take part in wales remembers. The highlights include a parade through the city, a drum head service at cooper's field in Bute Park, a fly past by hawk jets. Winners of school competition trips will also question veterans on their war time experiences.
