Essex County Council will use funding to provide a new indoor climbing facility comprising climbing, abseiling, bouldering, rope challenges and 3D problem solving facilities at the Centre. It will add to the activities currently available and allow for all-year-round indoor climbing for 37,000 users from forty-three schools and colleges, and the local community. Local climbing clubs and youth groups, and disabled users, including those with visual impairment will have access.
