A community centre will offer expanded services for refugees and asylum seekers in Wakefield. Advocacy and advice on issues such as housing, employment, health and education, including the provision of International English Language Testing System (IELTS) classes, will be provided. Workers will reach out to isolated people and cultural events and publicity will generate greater understanding in the community.
