This project increases support available to families by providing more volunteers to visit families at home. Volunteers will be recruited, trained and supervised to provide emotional and practical help to support families who find it difficult to access mainstream services. Many families involved will be teenage and/or lone parents, parents from BME communities or those difficult to engage through low self-esteem, depression, learning difficulties and relationship, housing or financial difficulties.
