The Royal National Institute of the Blind aims to promote better education, training, employment and welfare for people with sight problems. This project will expand and develop RNIB Talk and Support Tele Befriending, which bring blind and partially sighted people together via volunteer led support sessions over the telephone. 3,490 people will participate in weekly six person telephone sessions from their homes, which will enable them to talk to others in a similar situation.
