The project will provide a new music therapy unit for people with a range of disabilities. This will be based within a performing arts centre for deaf people that is on the school site. The project is a partnership between Mary Hare and Nordoff Robbins, a music therapy centre and training provider. A wide cross-section of the community will also benefit from the facility, including deaf people, autistic people, people with learning difficulties and people with dementia or Alzheimers.
