The project will continue the Aquacare facility, which will enable 275 rurally isolated disabled people to take part in swimming and water based exercises, by co-ordinating transport, raising the temperature of the pool and providing appropriately trained members of staff. This will allow them to take part in a mainstream activity, improving their self esteem and confidence to take part in other community activities and reducing their social isolation.
