The Recovery Essentials Project will support individuals and families affected by substance misuse to overcome their financial problems. Financial inclusion workers will be recruited to work within a partnership of eight specialist drug and alcohol services. They will provide one to one advice, support and group work to build skills and change behaviours. They will also train 20 volunteer peer supporters to provide initial advice and advocacy thereby leaving a legacy of knowledge and skills.
