Holy Island Village Hall is a registered charity set up to run a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. The original village hall was closed in 2005 for safety reasons and subsequently demolished in 2007. The project aims to build a new community hall where a wide range of activities and services can be provided. It intends to improve health and well-being, reduce isolation for residents, especially older and younger residents, and increase social cohesion.
