The group will use funding to implement a good neighbour scheme for older people, including assisting on shopping trips, prescription collection, pathway gritting and signposting to other services and activities, including tea dances and online benefit claims. This will encourage beneficiaries to socialise more and get them out of their homes, with the aim of reducing isolation and promoting wellbeing.
