The MLWW project will pilot a model of woodland social enterprises to help address deep-rooted issues of social exclusion and a lack of employment and training opportunities within local communities, as well as a lack of access to open space. The three year long project will support local communities to set up social enterprises to improve these areas, creating opportunities for economic growth, increased engagement with the outdoors, and result in better health and well-being for those involved.
