The organisation will use the funding to provide four days intensive training in English and writing skills for up to 15 women over the age of 18 from the African and Asian community, who are isolated and disconnected from the local community due to their limited English. This will enable the participants to achieve a Level 2 accreditation in food safety and hygiene, and this will provide an opportunity to cook ethnic and local dishes and share food taster sessions with the wider community.
