This is the expansion of a county-wide project engaging people with learning disabilities in activities to improve their health, confidence and well-being. People access volunteering opportunities through a buddy scheme, such as helping out in a charity shop or community garden. In return they receive credits for social and leisure activities, like going to the cinema or visiting a museum. The scheme is supported by local businesses, which benefit from new people accessing their services.
