The group will work in partnership with Rotherham Advocacy Partnerships to set up a peer-led, targeted support service for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues. They will provide direct crisis intervention and instigate practical proactive support for individuals, many of whom are not eligible for statutory services. Outreach work will also be carried out for people from BME communities and in areas where access to support services is currently limited or non-existent.
