The organisation is using funding over three years to expand their Welfare and Housing Team and develop and pilot a follow-on service for their clients who have transitioned from their shelter into more permanent accommodation. This support will enable clients to manage and continue their tenancy on a sustainable basis while also ensuring they are able to connect to services in their new area. The project provides benefits and welfare advice routes to employment helping men rebuild relationships with their families which may have broken down supporting the process of securing their own housing and signposting for health services/addiction services. The project aims to ensure people are more likely to sustain their tenancies and thrive in their new accommodation.
