The funding will be used to employ two new staff members to provide better support for people with learning disabilities (LD) in the New Forest. These are an Information Advice and Guidance Practitioner (IAG) and Life Skills Development Co-ordinator. The organisation will also and move their operations to a more central location. The IAG practitioner will become a central point of contact for people with LD across the New Forest their parents / carers and other professionals. The Life Skills Co-ordinator will plan and run a series of sessions and activities to support people to live more independently.
