The funding will be used by the project to assist 50 individuals and 40 families over a 24-week period. The group will offer support for homeless individuals currently in emergency shelter families on low income or victims of cuts due to the pandemic and women in refuge due to the increase in domestic violence induced by COVID-19. The funding will also be used to upgrade its vehicle to better meet demand create online training resources that teaches participants how to cook clever from their cupboards on a low or non-existent income and with food donation produce. It will also create a jobs and skills programme within the hotels that are currently catering for both women in refuge due to domestic violence and homeless individuals over a 12-week period create a drug rehabilitation workshop and offer an English as Second Language programme.
