This project aims to provide local people often from Eastern European or Gypsy Roma or Traveller backgrounds with information about their rights and options particularly in housing and work. As well as this the project works to empower children encouraging them to believe their voices are meaningful and influential especially in school settings and when engaging with local authority. Finally the project provides ongoing community support in the form of English language support IT and job skills working with local schools to translate messages and help with free school meal vouchers working with social workers the police and other multi-agency workers involved with community members.
