The group is using funding to support and grow the existing network of Kitchen Social (KS) community partners that provide holiday food and activities to children aged 16 and under at risk of food insecurity and social isolation. Funding will support 50 hubs to deliver 20 days of holiday provision throughout the year including a meal that meets school food standards a minimum of four hours of activities per day with an hour of structured physical activity and continuous engagement with young people throughout the holiday periods including engagement with positive social networks to promote physical and emotional wellbeing.
