The funding is being used to continue and expand their work with disadvantaged young people predominantly though not exclusively from the Turkish Kurdish communities of North and East London. Activities will be remotely delivered so they can reach participants through any further lockdowns and government restrictions. The project will provide bespoke and flexibly delivered online and telephone support and mentoring for young people in a combination of one to one group and guest speaker sessions and online film event workshops for young people creating a forum for informal accessible skills learning. The project is providing a safe social community space for young people to have their voices and views heard. The project aims to develop new skills increase motivation to pursue further educational opportunities and mental wellbeing.
