The funding will be used to fund a programme of mental health support for homeless people living in Cambridge Cyrenians� accommodation. The service provides long-term support to Cyrenian�s residents who face significant barriers because of poor mental health which prevent them from recovering and moving on from homelessness. Issues commonly seen include anxiety depression personality disorder psychosis and dual diagnosis. Additional services will include step down support provided by volunteer befrienders a new impact measurement tool an increase in placements available to trainee counsellors and student nurses and a new post to help recruit them.
