The funding will support communities with food poverty by helping to deliver a Community fridge and larder and a Pay It Forward Scheme (PIF). It will reduce food waste food poverty air miles plastic waste whilst offering access to free hot meals access to surplus food and awareness on supply chains and the impacts of global warming. There will be information on healthy diets and cooking workshops and Christmas Day meals as well as providing 8 hot nutritious homemade meals per day 5 days a week equaling 384 meals per year made from surplus stock.
