The group will use the award to set up its own office, run by volunteers, to enable people with dyslexia and related organisations access to a helpline and other services. Specialised software will enable the group to 'unlock the learning potential' in children and adults and help them to minimise the difficulties they face on a day to day basis. It will also help to boost their confidence combat social exclusion and broaden their horizons, both socially and in the employment field.
